Viewers tuning into The Voice Kids final on Wednesday evening were left feeling confused about what the prize for winning the show was.
During the third and final episode of the ITV show, coaches Mel C, Pixie Lott, Danny Jones and will.i.am were seen choosing their finalists for the competition.
All four stars admitted they had found it extremely difficult choosing just one of their acts to represent them, and Mel C even fought back tears.
The Spice Girls star ended up winning the show as her act Torrin wowed viewers at home with her final performance of Auld Lang Syne.
Despite looking absolutely delighted, viewers were left feeling confused about what Torrin, 14, had actually won.
Before host Emma Willis announced the winner, she confirmed that the lucky person would be going on an epic trip to Disneyland Paris.
However, she then said: “Now before we reveal the name of our winner, I do have one very small announcement still to make and that is: whatever the result this evening, you will all be going to Disneyland Paris!”
Taking to Twitter, one confused viewer asked: “So what’s the point in winning then #TheVoiceKids.”
Another wrote: “I am so shocked at how sh*t the prize is for the winner of #TheVoiceKids.”
A third person said: “No recording contract no ok #thevoicekids,” while another asked: :Whats the prize? #TheVoiceKids #thevoicekidsuk.”
However, someone else thought it was lovely that all four finalists won a prize and tweeted: “At least they all go away #thevoicekids.”
After she was announced the winner, Torrin said: “It just feels totally incredible and thank you to Melanie because I wouldn’t be here without you!”
Speaking about Torrin’s talent and her future, Mel said: “I think if she continues on this path; she’s so passionate, she’s so dedicated that I just think there’s no stopping her.
“I do believe she could become one of the greats of our time. She’s got that potential. She’s so talented. She just has that ability to connect with people and to touch your soul.”
