Chelsea could move for a new goalkeeper during the January transfer window, it has been reported.
It comes as Thomas Tuchel’s side have been linked with making a number of defensive signings in the new year as they face an exodus of players leaving the club.
They could also look to bring in a new full-back following Ben Chilwell’s injury, but have reportedly been dealt a blow in their attempts to sign Everton’s Lucas Digne.
And details of exactly what the Blues will need to do in order secure top defensive target Jules Kounde have come to light.
Here are all the latest Chelsea transfer rumours.

Sales needed before Kounde move
Chelsea will need to sell at least two players before they can make a move for Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde, it has been reported.
According to Fichajes, the Blues want to offload Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner to raise the necessary funds to bring in their top defensive target Kounde this month.
The report adds that Barcelona and Inter Milan could move for Ziyech, while the Catalan side are also interested in Werner alongside German giants Bayern Munich.
It is also reported that if Chelsea get “a good amount of money” for the two stars they could “negotiate almost immediately with Sevilla the signing of a Jules Kounde”.
Newcastle could swoop in and pinch the signing of Everton full-back Lucas Digne ahead of Chelsea, it is claimed.
Eddie Howe’s side are expected to splash the cash during this month’s January transfer window following their takeover by the Saudi Public Investment Fund on October 7.
Chelsea are believed to be in the market for a new left-back following Ben Chilwell’s injury, but ESPN claim that Frenchman Digne could be on the move to Newcastle rather than Chelsea.
Chelsea are said to prefer a loan move for Digne, although Everton would prefer a permanent sale following a break-down in his relationship with Rafa Benitez – giving Newcastle the transfer advantage.
Blues ‘consider’ ter Stegen bid
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is unhappy with Edouard Mendy and so could fund a move for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, according to reports.
The move could spark a transfer merry-go-round, as El Nacional claims Barcelona could consider selling the German keeper in order to allow them to register new winger Ferran Torres and the Catalan could then bring in Ajax’s Andre Onana as ter Stegen’s replacement.
And the report adds that if Chelsea do put in an offer for ter Stegen, Barca president Joan Laorta could initiate the moves, despite new manager Xavi wanting to keep his current goalkeeper.
