Jeanine Ann Roose, who appeared in festive classic It’s A Wonderful Life, has died aged 84, TMZ has reported.

The actress reportedly died at her home on New Year’s Eve after suffering an infection in her abdomen.

She is best known for playing the little girl, Violet Bick, featured in the 40s Hollywood hit.

Speaking about her experience on set, Jeanine said previously: “It’s A Wonderful Life was the only movie that I was in and it been an amazing lifetime experience to have been in such a collectively meaningful picture.”
