Jake Paul has slammed “15x loser” Jorge Masvidal as he him as the ‘winner’ of the “weak chin fighter award” for 2021.

The YouTube star has heated up his callouts of Masvidal in recent weeks, turning on his former friend in an effort to organise a massive crossover boxing match.

And he has even made a $5million guarantee with pay-per-view points for Masvidal to leave his UFC contract and take the fight in a boxing ring.

But that deal is not likely to come to fruition, with UFC boss Dana White telling Paul to look elsewhere for opponents after calling for fights with Nate Diaz, Conor McGregor and Masvidal.

In his latest jab at the former welterweight title contender, Paul has mocked Masvidal for his 35-15 MMA record, as well as his “weak chin” after being viciously knocked out by Kamaru Usman in April.

After Paul won a number of “knockout of the year” awards for his brutal finish of Tyron Woodley, his promotional company Most Valuable Promotions posted that he had won the “MVP 2021 weak chin fighter award”.

“Congrats Jorge!” The account said. “Please contact us for your prize when your weak chin wakes up.”

And after the mocking post they didn’t stop, joking about a message where they joked about his 35-15 record, calling him a “15x loser”.

“It is a blessing to lose when you lose as much as Jorge,” they said while sharing a quote from his post-fight speech after the Usman bout.

“2022 resolution… Don’t be a loser – happy new year to all!”

It comes after Masvidal and his boss Dana White mocked Paul over the reportedly low pay-per-view sales for his rematch with Tyron Woodley last month.

The knockout that Paul landed on Woodley in the sixth round of the Florida showdown has since gone viral, but the event didn’t sell all that well after the original opponent Tommy Fury pulled out on two weeks’ notice.

A misleading number of 65,000 PPV buys had been floated after the bout, although that was exclusively through cable, with the majority coming through streaming which is not included.

And Masvidal mocked Paul for his inability to sell pay-per-views, saying: “B**** boy can’t afford the big boys.

“Never again do I want to hear my name associated with the fake, 3 0 5 [Masvidal’s Miami area code] day is coming.”

White also got in on making fun of Paul’s poor sales for the event, which the YouTuber admitted was “not his best business night”.

“You can’t sell pay-per-views,” he said in a public call-out to the social media sensation. You’re calling out Jorge Masvidal because he’s a pay-per-view superstar.

“Nate Diaz, Conor McGregor, Mike Tyson – these are all superstars. You’re not. You can’t sell pay-per-views. So you do whatever the hell you want to do.”

White has previously stated that Masvidal won’t be allowed to fight Paul, nor Diaz or McGregor, until they are out of UFC contract.
