Ryanair unions call for 12 more days of strike for July | Economy
The Ryanair unions have called for 12 more days of strike for their cabin crew during the month of July. The announcement comes after the six days of strikes that have been carried out and that ended this Saturday.
The convening unions, USO and Sitcpla, have informed through a statement that the strike will take place on July 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27 and 28 in the ten Spanish airports in which the airline operates.
“The unions and the Ryanair crew once again show their protest in this way and demand a change of attitude from the airline and to resume the negotiation of a collective agreement that includes decent working conditions and under Spanish legislation for its workers. ”, the organizers point out in their statement.
USO and Sitcpla demand that the Government and, specifically, the Minister of Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz, “do not allow Ryanair to violate labor legislation and constitutional rights such as the right to strike and act against a company that does not abide by court rulings , does not comply with the law and uses fear, coercion and threats with its employees”.
